Map of Global Biocapacity: World’s Most Fertile Soils
June 9, 2008 – 1:39 amBiocapacity measures how biologically productive the world’s croplands, pastures, forests and fisheries are. The ‘global hectare,’ which equals the average biocapacity of all land in the world, is the basic unit of biocapacity. Territory size shows the proportion of all biocapacity that is found there.
